My dear Monica there is so much I want to say to you and how I wished I had the chance...you mean the world to me is a great start. From the moment I first saw your smile or heard your laugh I thought, “This girl is someone I need to know better!” You entered my heart from the start.  I loved how you could read my thoughts at times, and I knew that was possible because you really took the time to know what was important to me, you got to really know me.  

 We were close through our school years and as roommates afterwards we became like sisters. We lost contact for a period of ten years and when we reconnected it was as if we never were apart. That day we spoke for hours and hours because that’s how much we had to share, to catch-up.  You meant so much to me to all of us. You were so magnanimous and that's no exaggeration. You brightened my  darkest days, so genuinely and with the greatest of love. 
Your smile alone warmed my heart and your laughter was like music to my soul.
I would give absolutely anything to know that I brought you just an inkling of what you gave me because what you gave is immeasurable!  

Not a second passes when you're not in my thoughts because your love, I cannot ever forget!
The hurt will ease in time, and fill with instead the beautiful memories I have of you, my dear Monica....until I see you again ♥️

Sweet friend, thank you for all of the laughs you have shared with me. You were always so thoughtful and kind, to anyone and everyone. I will miss you dearly. May you Rest in Peace.
