A beloved educator and lifelong seeker of knowledge, Professor Mony dedicated his life to the study and teaching of chemistry, inspiring countless students with his sharp intellect and genuine curiosity about the world. His love of learning extended far beyond the classroom — he found equal joy in the beauty of poetry, the vastness of astronomy, and the wonders of geography, embodying the spirit of a true Renaissance man.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jayalakshmi, who passed away on June 12, 2025.
Professor Mony is survived by his three children and their spouses and, six grandchildren, who were the pride and joy of his life.
Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home, 1737 Riggins Rd, Tallahassee, FL 32308:
