Murphy Roy Hinson, Jr., 85, of Tallahassee died Saturday (9/2) at his home. A native of Nashville, TN he has lived in several places throughout his career having returned to Tallahassee this year from Savannah, GA. He was a graduate of Florida State University and worked as a regional director for one of the grocery store chains. He was Korean War veteran having served in the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his children: Janet (Charles) Pate of Tallahassee, Dan (Teresa) of Huntsville, AL, Don (Nellie) of Texas, Beth Gregory of Columbia, SC; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
