
Long time Tallahassee community activist and civil rights leader Musa Abdul Wali Jugger died, Dec. 26, 2011 at Seven Hills Nursing Center.
Musa (Raleigh Jugger, Jr.) was born January 7, 1940 to Raleigh and Mamie Jugger of Tallahassee Fl, where he was the oldest of ten children. Musa was a tireless advocate and fighter for civil and human rights for many disenfranchised citizens of Tallahassee and the surrounding communities.
Musa was the father of four: one daughter, Miriam Jugger and three sons, Malik Jugger, Mansur Jugger and Mukhtar Jugger.
Musa Jugger was laid to rest on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at an Islamic Funeral services held at the Culley's Memorial Chapel.
A community-wide memorial service will be held at 11:30am on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church, Pastor Stanley L. Walker, Sr., on 615 Tuskegee Street.
