Nancy Lou Coffin

Nancy Lou Coffin, age 78, died April 10, 2013, of natural causes.

She was born in Lorain, Ohio, and graduated from Avon Lake High School in 1953. Nancy Lou Coffin married Kenneth Charles Coffin in 1955. She attended nursing school and became employed with the Federal government and worked for the Internal Revenue Service, the Health Education and Welfare Department in Washington D.C, and the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Md. She retired from the federal government after 30 years of service and moved to West Palm Beach, FL. She enjoyed gardening and was a United Methodist Church of the Palm Beaches member. She moved to Tallahassee, FL, in 2005.

She is survived by her brother, John Schenck; her daughter, Darlene Barry; her son, Kenneth Eric Coffin; and her two grandsons, Darius and Michael Barry.

A visitation and reception is planned on April 20, 2013, from 1 PM to 3 PM at Culley’s Meadowwood Funeral Home located at 1737 Riggins Rd., Tallahassee, FL.
