Nina was born May 8, 1932 in Hodgesville, Alabama and was a long time resident of Tallahassee. Nina was employed as an Administrative Assistant with the College of Education with Florida State University until her retirement in 1994.
Nina is survived by her two (2) sons, Gerry Mingledorff (Martha) and Glenn Mingledorff (Cathy); daughter, Debbie Deese (Mickey); seven (7) grandchildren, Jeremy Deese (Josie), Jason Betts (Gretchen), Shawn Deese (Brandi), Emily Drury (Keith), Sarah, Becky, Adam; and three (3) great-grandchildren, Gracie, Morgyn and Kolson. Nina is preceded in death by her husband of sixty-seven (67) years, Cooper, and her son, Dean.
Family and friends will gather on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at Culley’s MeadowWood Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 700 Timberlane Road in Tallahassee for a graveside service to start at 11:00 am with Pastor Wade Moran officiating. Reception will follow immediately after the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Tallahassee Senior Center, 1400 N. Monroe St., Tallahassee, Florida 32303.
