

Patricia Ray-Ogletree, 76, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2026, in Jacksonville, Florida. She was born on November 29, 1949, in Quincy, Florida, and spent much of her life in Tallahassee, where she built lasting friendships and a life centered around family.
Pat graduated from Leon High School in 1968 and went on to dedicate many years of service to the State of Florida until her retirement. She was known for her generous heart, her deep love for her family and friends, and her gift for bringing people together around the table.
She found joy in cooking meals big enough to feed an army, and no one ever left her table without feeling cared for. Pat had a way of filling every room with laughter, sharing stories, and making those around her feel truly special. Her warmth, humor, and devotion to her loved ones will be remembered always.
She was preceded in death by her long-time partner, Jerry Adams; her parents, Leila and Jessie Ray; her brother, Eddie Ray; her son, Eddie Gene Ogletree, Jr.; and her sister-in-law, Suki Ray.
Pat is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Dean LoVerde; her brothers, Tommy Ray and Paul Ray (Nancy Meeks-Davis); her beloved nieces and nephews, Jessie Ray, Emory Paul Ray, Joshua Ray, Jennifer Ray, and Barbara Ray; and her cherished grandchildren, Wesley Jones, Blake Ogletree, Tobie Ogletree, BriAnna Wood, Tatum Wood, and Ezra LoVerde.
Pat was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed. Her legacy of laughter, love, and togetherness will live on in the hearts of her family and friends
A Visitation will be held at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home, 700 Timberlane Road, Tallahassee, FL 32312, on April 11, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by the Funeral Service at the same location from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. The Burial will immediately follow the service outside at MeadowWood Memorial Park, 700 Timberlane Road, Tallahassee, FL 32312.
