She was born on Monday, October 4, 1943, in Pensacola, Florida, to Mary Jean and Frank Bray. She grew up in Pensacola, Florida, lived in Tallahassee, Florida, and spent her best life in Phoenix, Arizona. She was the Director of the Cowden Center in Phoenix. She loved her cats (all things cats!) and rescued too many to count. She was a kind and giving soul and will be dearly missed by all who were blessed to know her loving spirit.
A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Shadow Rock United Church of Christ. A reception will be held afterward. The address is 12861 N. 8th Avenue, Phoenix, Arizona.
She is survived by her daughters Tammy Williams Schroeder of Fargo, North Dakota, and Delana Williams of Attapulgus, Georgia. Her siblings Ansell (Dina) Bray of Morris, New York, Alicia Foose of Tucson, Arizona, and Will Bray of Pensacola, Florida. Her best and truest friend, Jerry Ketelhut-Toleu. And most importantly, the Maricopa Cat Gang: Ming-A-Ling, Princess Poo and Pretty Kitty, her beloved cats!
Patsy would wish that we all remember the good times we shared with her and to always be kind to one another.
Do all the good you can, in all the places you can, at all the times you can, to all the people you can for as long as you can. -John Wesley
