Patti Lewis Brinson, beloved daughter, sister, mother, Nana, and friend, was taken from us on April 10, 2012 at the age of 57.
She was born August 31, 1954 in Columbus, GA, daughter of the late John Bass Lewis and Lucile Dudley Lewis. Patti called Havana, FL home for the past 14 years and was employed by the United States Postal Service as a Rural Carrier in Havana since 2007. Patti had a great passion for the Lord and was totally dedicated to her family and friends. She also had a passion for the love of the outdoors, nature and of animals of all kinds. She especially loved spending time at the beach and always found a great sense of peace being near the ocean. Patti was a creative soul who enjoyed all types of art and crafts. She was very proud to be a grandmother and spending time with her only grandson gave her great joy.
Patti was preceded in death by her brother, John (Butch) Lewis.
She is survived by her daughter, Angela McVey Findley; son-in-law, Brian Findley; and grandson, Jackson Findley. Other surviving family members include a cousin, Walter Glen Dudley; and aunt, Virginia Dudley.
Visitation will be at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home 700 Timberlane Road on Tuesday (April 17) from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Graveside Services will be on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. EST at Parkhill Cemetery in Columbus,Ga.
Arrangements are under the direction of Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home in Tallahassee, Florida.
