Paul was born and raised on Long Island, New York and moved to Miami with his parents, Myrtle Caroline Mullee and Paul Joseph Mullee when he was 16 years old. Paul’s dad was an accomplished pianist who played in the finest night clubs and hotels in New York, Miami and other major cities in the US. Paul graduated from Miami Edison High School in 1950 and from the University of Miami in 1954.
After leaving for a job in New York, Paul met Ada Marie Fauls in May, got engaged in June and married in September 1955. They were married for almost 62 wonderful years. Shortly after their wedding they moved to Madrid, Spain on the first of three of Paul’s overseas assignments working in Purchasing for large US corporations.
Following Madrid, they went to Saigon, South Vietnam where they lived for eighteen months and Ada gave birth to their first child, Pam, in a three-bed clinic. Their final overseas residence was for four and a half years in Paris, France where Paul worked on the Euro-Disney project (Disneyland Paris).
Paul was a wonderful, God-fearing, praying man who loved life and his family. He was a wonderful husband, father, father-in-law, son, son-in-law, grandfather and great grandfather. He loved sports, but his true love was baseball. Paul was kind and always considerate; always thinking about the other person and never wanting to inconvenience anyone. He was the epitome of a true gentleman.
