She is survived by three children: Kevin Songer (Judy Songer), Tallahassee, Florida; Leisa Songer, San Antonio, Texas; and Scott Songer (Robin Songer), Midlothian, Virginia. She is survived also by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Paula was preceded in death by children Brian Songer, and Janna Lynn Songer, her husband Louis Warren Songer and parents, Paul and Ida Belle Morrow, and her sister Bonnie Shipp.
She grew up in Miami, Florida, graduating from Miami Edison High School where she studied office technology.
After graduating high school, she attended college in Tampa, Florida. She married the love of her life, Louis Songer, in 1956. They lived in Hialeah, Florida, and raised a family there. Paula was a member of Hialeah Church of Christ, until moving to Tallahassee, Florida in 1972.
She retired from Florida Diagnostic Learning and Resources System (FDLRS) with Leon County Schools, Tallahassee, Florida.
Paula supported numerous wolf rehabilitation causes, animal care efforts and involved herself with family genealogical research.

Burial will be in Culley Meadowood Cemetery, Tallahassee, Florida.
