

Pearl H. Weller, 91, of Tallahassee, died peacefully in her sleep Tuesday, February 12, 2013.
Pearl and her late husband, John Weller, moved here from Maine in 1983, after he was incapacitated by a stroke. She was his devoted caregiver and loving homemaker until his death in 1992. They were active members in Tallahassee's Celebration Baptist Church. Several years before moving to Tallahassee, they retired to country living in Pownal, Maine, where they especially enjoyed snowmobiling together in the winter all over the region. Also, they both usually had ribbon-winning entries in their annual county fair. She would enter her knitting projects and he would display vegetables from their garden.
She is survived by her son, Kenneth Lewis, and his wife, Carolyn, of Tallahassee; by her sister, Ada Sousa, of Tallahassee; and by her granddaughter, Tracy Cosenza and her husband, Joseph Cosenza, Sr.; and their three children, Julia, Joey, Jr. and Sophia, also ofTallahassee.
Visitation will be from 1:30 - 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 16, at the Timberlane Chapel of Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home, with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 P.M. Interment in the adjacent MeadowWood Memorial Park will follow the funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made to a favorite charity .
