Peggy was born in Owensboro, Kentucky in 1940 to parents Hugh & Jean Osborne. Peggy was an only child. She married the love of her life, John “Jack” Thrasher, on March 21, 1959, at the age of 18 and was married for 65 years. Together they raised two daughters Joy Murphy and Lisa Lunn.
In Peggy's earlier career, she taught sewing at Stretch and Sew for many years. In 1982, Peggy attended dental hygiene school and went to work as a dental hygienist up till the time she retired.
A devoted Christian, Peggy taught Precept Bible classes for many years. She found great joy in sewing, quilting, knitting, and many other related crafts. She also cherished caring for her grandsons whenever she could and picking them up after school as they grew up.
She is survived by her two daughters, Joy Murphy and Lisa Lunn (husband Donald); her grandsons, Michael Chance Lunn (wife Amber) and Zachary Lunn; and her great-grandson, Lawson. She will be remembered for her deep faith, spunky attitude, and the love she gave her family & friends.
