Phoebe Lee Alford

She was born in Shreveport, LA to John I. Alford and Lorena W. Alford. Phoebe enjoyed doing many things, but her favorite hobbies included: Spending weekends on the farm with her sister, heading to the coast to enjoy some sunshine on a nice warm day, and Spending time with friends and family. She also had a very impressive collection of Pez dispensers; this too was one of her favorite hobbies.

Phoebe was preceded in death by her father and mother, John I. Alford and Lorena W. Alford; brother, J.I. Alford; and brother-in-law, Michael Mann. She is survived by sister, Catherine Mann; brother, Jefferson Alford; her children, Von Hayes and Younard Battle; god children, Baliah Battle, and Semone Johnson; grandchildren, Brayden Battle, Madison Battle, and Youvi Battle; nephew, Philip Mann (Kristy Mann) and John Mann; and many other nieces and nephews.

Services for Phoebe will be communicated to family and friends on a later date when plans have been finalized.
