Raymond G. Degagne

Raymond served in the US Army three years. He was an accountant for 20 years and served five years as Treasurer-Tax Collector in Westford, MA. After moving to Tallahassee in 1977 he worked as Binder-Gatherer operator at Rose Printing for 11 years and then worked for the State of Florida for 13 years as an Office Automation Analyst. Mr. Degagne was a jack-of-all-trades and enjoyed rebuilding houses and building decks. He attended the Co-Cathedral of St. Thomas More and St. Luis Catholic Church in Tallahassee.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Doris G. Bouchard Degagne; his daughters: Darlene Degagne and Donna Hopkins both of Ormond Beach, Diane “Dee” Aldridge of Middleburg, Debra “Debbie” of Tallahassee; sons: Richard P. of Wakulla, Russell P. of Tallahassee, Ronald of Mallone; sisters: Sister Beatrice Degagne, sgq of Quebec, Canada, Jaqueline Lamy of Bismark, ND, Jeanine “Jean” Angel of Albany, TX; brother: Phillip R., a Marist Brother of Laredo, TX; ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
