Richard Michael "Mickey" Andzel Jr.

Richard Michael Andzel, Jr. died suddenly Thursday morning, May 31, 2012.

Mickey was born in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on February 23rd 1993. He with his family moved to Tallahassee in 2004.

Mickey was predeceased by his father, Rick Andzel.

Survivors include his mother, Sandy Boyer Andzel; his adored little brothers, Chipper, Jack and Danny; and his honorary brother, Tyler Darling. Mickey will be greatly missed by his grieving family, including his grandparents BA and YAYA - Sandy and Ethel Boyer of Tallahassee and Dick and Mary Pat Andzell of New York and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and his many, many friends.

The family would like to thank his devoted girlfriend Asia and his surrogate uncles, Judd, Gerry and Captain Mark for their love and guidance. We believe strongly that Mickey was living with major heart trouble in the form of a broken heart and we believe the circumstances of life overwhelmed a young man that deeply felt the loss of his dad. We are all devastated, speechless, numb and incapable of absorbing the magnitude of our loss.

The Service for Mickey will be held at the Bradfordville First Baptist Church on Tuesday June 5th at 1:00 pm. Family will receive friends from 5 – 9 pm Monday, June 4th, at Culley’s MeadowWood Funeral Home, 700 Timberlane Road.

Donations may be given to the Mickey Andzel Memorial Fund at any Capital City Bank. Checks can be made to the Mickey Andzel Memorial Trust.
