Richard was born in Brooklyn, New York on October 26, 1929 to parents Richard and Anna Sorrentino. After serving in the US Army, Richard moved his young family to Glen Cove, where he became a Police Officer for the city of Glen Cove.
Richard is survived by Anne, his wife of 39 years, daughters Katherine, Rosemary, and Christine, grandchildren, Charles, Kaylan, Dustin and Chloe, and his great-grandchildren, Noah, Seth and newest member Harrison.
