Ricky A Fisher

Ricky graduated from Drexel College in Philadelphia, PA with a degree in civil engineering. His specialty was transportation and roadway design including a portion of the Suncoast Parkway and other roads throughout Florida and the U.S.

He proudly served in the United States Air Force in Vietnam receiving the Air Force Commendation Medal and the Republic of Vietnam Service Medal.

He was an avid fan of sports, especially ice hockey.

Ricky is survived by his wife, Lorna, 3 daughters, Rebecca Borders, Melissa Polk, and Melanie Woodland as well as 6 grandchildren, Arlene, Angela, Grayson, Imriel, Riley and R.J.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Big Bend Hospice, Inc. in Tallahassee, FL in gratitude for their service to Ricky and his family.

A Funeral Service will be held at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 700 Timberlane Road, Tallahassee, Florida 32312, on July 15, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be from 10 AM until service time.
