Robert J. Allen

He proudly served in the U. S. Air Force.

Robert was an active member of the Tallahassee First Baptist Church. He was, also, active in the Tallahassee community and was a member of the Kiwanis Club.

He loved to travel and attend musical concerts.

Some of his favorite moments were spent going out with his supper club and the time spent with his basset hound, Nettie Holly.

Robert is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret.

He is survived by daughter, Pamela Wood; son, Robbie D. Allen; and grandson, Jamison R. Wood; and special family friends: Kathy Moore, Cindy Flynn, Brandon Dugas, Kelvin Washington, Peter Wood, Jr. and caregiver Robin Williams, all of Tallahassee.

The family wishes to thank Robert's friends at DaVita Dialysis, Seven Hills Rehab Center, his kidney transplant support group and his FBC family for their loving support.

The family will host a visitation at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home's Riggins Road location on Monday, April 20 from 6-8 p.m. Robert's service will be Tuesday, April 21 at 4 p.m. at the Tallahassee First Baptist Church, with burial to follow at the Oakland Cemetery.
