Son of Robert and Francis Alwine (deceased in 2000 and 1999), Robert was born in York, Pennsylvania on May 7th, 1943. He served his country in the US Air Force from 1963-1983.
He was pre-deceased by his sister, Donna Peddicord. He is survived by his 5 sons and their spouses, Mike and Melinda, Mark and Emily, Shane and Mary, Robert and Heather, and Evan and Christine; his ex-wife Debra, and his sisters, Cheryl Lutz and Kathy Schindler.
A committal service will be held on Tuesday, January 28 at 10:00 a.m. at The Tallahassee National Cemetery, 5015 Apalachee Parkway, Tallahassee, FL 32311.
