Robert G. Herron, Sr. 67, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2013.
Born in Vincennes, Indiana, he lived in Tallahassee most of his life. He was a Chemist for Florida Department of Agriculture and was later employed with Herron Steel Company. He was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church during his youth and later Cody Pentecostal Holiness Church.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Virginia Herron; and son, Robert G. Herron, Jr., daughter-in-law Jennifer MeLeah Herron; grandsons, Gabriel Robert Herron, Mason Jonathan Herron, Eli Maximus Herron and Liam Christian Herron. Survivors include brothers and sisters, William H. Herron, Jr.(Mary), Russel A Herron (Kathi), Richard A Herron, Barbara Jean Loveland, Pamela H. Shiflett (Allen) and Susan H. Brown (Phil).
Funeral services will be held at Culley’s MeadowWood Funeral Home 700 Timberlane Road on Sunday (March 10) at 3:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior. A reception in the MeadowWood Room will follow the service.
