Thinking about Bob today. Around this time a few  years ago he did a road trip with me and the band SORNE. He was as you would expect a very generous man with his affections and his talents. He supported SORNE 100%. None of us will ever forget Bob and what he was to my family and those who were the band SORNE. After SORNE changed, Bob continued to be involved with my family, coming over for family gatherings. Missing him so much.

I met Bob several years ago the Hobbit. One of the nicest people I have ever had the pleasure to know. He will truly be missed.

His heart, as big as his stature, as big as his bass, as big as our memories.

Bob was one of my top best friends in high school in Miami. Even with three other deaths in my life since March starting with the love in my life it still hits me hard to have lost Bob. He was a good guy.

What wonderful memories we have of our neighbor and friend Bob.  He will never be forgotten.

I will never forget what a kind, sweet and wonderful musician Bob was.  I loved hugging him because I am very tall my self. Rest in peace my friend.

Bob, the earth is still, with the deafening silence of your departure. You have been my friend for 50 years, and I miss you terribly.  Your "grill buddy", Gary is deeply saddened as well. You were a huge part of our lives.  You were a wonderful brother in law, uncle and friend. I am so happy you had the years you did with Gavin. We will work hard to keep your spirit alive for him.  You stories and music will live on forever.  You will be missed.

I had the privilege of playing music with Bob as a young man some twenty-five years ago. The last time i saw him he came down to the Wharf from the Salty Dog and gave me one of those gentle giant Bob hugs as if it was just yesterday that we had played together. I have never met a more kind and gentle giant and i dare say i never will again.

As musicians, my husband and I enjoyed sharing the stage with Big Bob.  It was always a joy to talk with him.  He was always so cool.  We saw him around a month ago.  We sure will miss him.

As I see it.....you had a daughter who loved you and grew up to be a good example for others....you lived your passion.....In my opinion, you had a good life on Earth and now you are in a better place.  We will miss you..... Carrie

I knew him well and for many years i am so sorry to here of this loss he talked of his daughter often and we had many wonderful talks over the years when ever we saw each other he was a great friend and great music man

He was a awesome man. He played at our wedding reception with Kevin and Clyde, two years ago this month. He will be truly missed.

My daughter was only 3 when she first met Bob, and she was instantly smitten with the tall man that looked like Santa.  Bob was better than Santa--he was a real gift to all who knew him.  My family will miss him, and our prayers go out to his beautiful family.  We love you...Frank, Diana Fulford and Merrick Mitchell.

The first time I met Bob he made a big impression on me, he was tall, had a wild beard, a deep voice and very kind eyes. 
He told me he traveled through Europe with a band and in an area of the Netherlands where I live now. He will be so missed by all his friends and family. My heart goes out to them. R.I.P Bob.

You were always a good friend to me and my children Bob, I will always remember the wonderful stories and the acts of generosity you showed us when we first moved to Tallahassee.  You will be sorely missed and always loved.  Sleep well my friend.  I will see you again.

Julianne it was really hurtful to hear about your Dad's passing, I know the pain.  I'm praying for you & your son.

Big Bob had a big heart who taught us all to live in peace and love one another.  Just as our Lord and Saviour commanded, Bob faithfully executed.  Bob will be remembered fondly and missed very deeply.  My love, prayers  and sincere sympathy to Julianne and family.  We were old friends from Miami who picked up here in Tallahasse.

Gonna miss you standing by my side Bob, was a pleasure playing with ya.

Bob was the nicest person in a band I think I ever met and so easy to talk to.   He never got angry it seemed and was as a melancholy man.   The fact he died on my 60th birthday hit me hard.  I am glad I got to talk to him for about an hour on phone a month ago
