OBITUARY
Robin Faith Nall Robinson
September 5, 1961 – February 11, 2021
Robin Faith Nall Robinson, 59, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2021, with her beloved husband of 33 years, Ridge Robinson, by her side. The cause of death was complications related to the Covid-19 virus.
A Tallahassee native, Robin was a central part of her wide community of family and friends. Whether it was cheering for her children and their friends during various sporting events, volunteering at their schools, or pulling up her sleeves to help with whatever needed doing, Robin was always there. She also had a 36-year career as a Hair Designer, which began in 1984 at the Hairsmith, and continued at Chelsea Salon until her death. Robin loved to laugh, both at work and in her personal life. She had a smile that lit up the room. Yet she could also be fierce, as anyone within earshot during a Seminoles’ football game could attest.
Finally, no conversation about Robin would be complete without mentioning food. She loved to cook and share delicious meals with the people she loved for most any occasion. It is unimaginable that such a force of nature is no longer here in person. Her spirit will remain in our memories forever.
In addition to her husband, Ridge, Robin leaves behind their son, Ridge Robinson, Jr.; their two daughters, Sierra and Summer Robinson; their two granddaughters, Emma Kate and Kinsleigh Harper; her father, John Nall; her mother, Daryl Nall; her older sister, Gloria Steele (Gary); her younger brother, Tom Allen (Sara Allen); her “baby” sister, Debbie Nall (Scott Main); and too many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends to count.
The family will host a visitation at Culley's Meadow wood Funeral Home from 4 - 6 pm on Saturday, February 20, 2021. A memorial service has not been scheduled at this time.
In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to St. Jude Children's Hospital.

Robin was one of a kind. One evening my car decided to skid off the road into the grass off 1-10. I was hysterical. My mother had just passed away and it had been a very stressful and emotional time. I started calling people to pick me up from where they were towing my car to. Robin was the only one who answered and came to pick me up in torrential weather. I won’t forget the kindness and love she showed me.

Robin and I were childhood friends when we both lived in the Lakeshore Drive area of Tallahassee. I always admired her especially for her gymnastic talents! It was wonderful to reconnect with her decades later in the Facebook Zone, and I loved watching her posts about her friends and precious family. My deepest sympathies to her family and friends whom she touched throughout her life. Robin, you will be missed, my friend.

Ridge, Summer, Sierra, Tom, Debbie, Mr. Nall (John), Ms. Nall (Daryl),
I was verry sad to hear about Robin and her battle with COVID. She was such a wonderful person to so many as a daughter, sister, friend, wife, mother and grandmother. All the family photos are wonderful and loved looking through them. I kmow you are heartbroken and share your pain in this untimely passing of Robin. She was and is a powerful person who is greatly admired by many. Sue and Betty Weeks and myself will miss her...!
Having grown up in the same neighborhood with the Nall family and the Ridge family there are many wonderful childhood memories with Robin and the rest of the Nall family. What comes to mind are the wonderfull rides while carpooling to Florida High together, riding horses, trips to the local convience store, football games, herding dogs or traversing creeks and underground forts. I have forgotten who the battle was against in the fort..., perhaps the Gators.
My sincere condolences to all of you.

In my mind, Robin will always be young, and funny, and strong. She was my friend and confidant, as we navigated childhood, and our teens. We must have walked hundreds of miles together around the Lakeshore Drive neighborhoods, and we never ran out of things to do, or say. She was like a sister to me. It is my prayer that she is safe, and free of pain, and that she will always know how much she meant to so many. I know that I will never forget her, and how she made my life so much better for having known her. To the Nall and Robinson families...I am deeply sorry for your loss.

It is impossible to overstate the impact my big sister Robin had on my life. Eight years older, she took me on as her own. She is part of every memory I have of my childhood, and has been there for every important moment. I don't know what life without her will look like. But I know that she prepared me well. She taught me how to swim, both literally, at Lake Hall, and figuratively, through the variable waters of life. I would not be who I am without her. Now my job is to do honor to her legacy by finding the joy in every moment. Rest in peace, my love. You and Val are back together. I can hear you laughing. I hope you are having fun. I love you always and forever.

I don't know if this is appropriate or not. But because of the covid, I was not able to visit my daughter as she was dying, nor to be with her family as they mourned. So this is my goodbye note to her. I was there when she was born, and held that tiny body in my arms, and was so proud to be the father of a beautiful little girl. My first born. Later, I enjoyed her as she grew up, from a baby, to a child, to her first steps, to starting school, to a rebellious teenager. And then as a wife to a wonderful man, and as a mother to my grandchildren, and as a grandmother to my great-grandchildren. This is not the way it is supposed to be, but it is the way it is. So she is with God now, and I thank Him that I was allowed to be her father, and know her for almost 60 years. Goodbye, my Tumbling Tot. I love you. Dad

Even after a couple of days, the sadness and shock are no less. I have known Robin and Ridge for 30 years plus and have been blessed to enjoy some great camaraderie and friendship, we have worked together and played together over the years… And I have enjoyed watching the two of you grow as a couple and watching your children grow up and even having children of their own. I love you all and I am lifting prayers up for peace and understanding… I find personal solace in knowing that she is in no pain and will be waiting with open arms to welcome her family home when it is their time to go down to the clearing oat the end of their path.

Dear Nall/Robinson Family,
I am so very sorry to hear of Robin's passing. Robin's sister Val and I were the best of friends in high school. Robin took us under her wings and watched over us in all our shenanigans. I know Robin and Val are rejoicing in their reunion and having a dance party to BeeGee's songs just like old times. Hold on to your own cherished memories in the days ahead to sustain you in this most difficult time. Prayers for comfort and peace in the days/weeks/months ahead.
