Born in Chicago, Il, Roy made Tallahassee his home twenty five years ago. He was a Journeyman Lineman for the City of Tallahassee with 24 years of service.
Roy is survived by his wife of 23 years, Susan Foulke Gay; his son, Marshall R. Gay, two brothers, David Gay and his wife Sue, and Wayne Gay and his wife Flo, and several nieces.
Funeral service will be held 1:00 pm Wednesday, April 6, 2011 in the chapel at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home, 1737 Riggins Road, with burial to follow at Tallahassee Memory Gardens. Family will receive friends from 6 - 8 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Shands Hospital, Gainesville, FL, Big Bend Hospice, or to a charity of your choice.
