Survivors include grand-daughter Aura Gonzales, (Robert), and great-grandchildren (Adriana, Liberty) and grand-son Iver Hunt of Albequerque, N.M.

As a widower, he also became a loving husband to Irene Francis of Tallahassee for seven years. Survivors include Melody Kehl, (Jeff) and children; Cheryl Sherback, (Rick); Steve Francis, (Lisa), and children; Michael Francis, (Michelle), and children.

This was a faithful man known for his integrity, loving-kindness and his servant’s heart. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

The service will reside at Culley’s MeadowWood Funeral Home, 700 Timberland Road, Tallahassee. It will be officiated by Thomasville Road Baptist Church, where he was a deacon for 20 years. This will also be a military service in honor of 30 years in the U.S. Navy, achieving rank of Chief Petty Officer. The viewing will be Friday, Jan 4, from 5-7 pm and funeral observance is Saturday, Jan 5 at 10 am. Reception following.
