Joe and I are so sorry to hear of Ruth’s passing.  Ruth was such a bright spot with a smile always ready.  Even though I haven’t seen her in many years, when I think of her I always smile.  Prayers for you Wade and all of her family and friends.


I worked with Ruth for many years. She always found something good in everyone.  I saw her last at a favorite meet-up place of many people - Publix!  Ruth was in her last week of rehab after knee replacement.  We had a pleasant chat and compared knee scars.  I will miss this sweet, kind and caring lady.

I will miss the laughter and pure joy that Ruth found in life.  I will miss her funny sense of humor on the tennis courts.  Mostly, I will miss her friendship.  I pray for her entire family.

Ruth, even though I could not see your smile, I could definitely hear it.

May you rest in peace with a smile that can't be silenced.

"Ruthie" as I so fondly called you.  I miss you every day.  I'll miss your laugh, your HUGE smile and  our times together.  I'll miss our bi-monthly lunches, our tennis "practice" /my "coach."  I love you and miss you.  Almost 30 years have passed since we first became friends.  I cherish each day.  I miss you.  Love - Your friend always.  Lorraine 

I said a prayer for you today & know God must have heard.  I felt the answer in my heart, although  He spoke no word.  I didn't ask for wealth or fame, I  knew you wouldn't mind.  I asked Him to send treasures of a far more lasting kind.  I asked Him to be with you at the start of each new day.  To grant you joy in your memories of Ruth and His light to guide your way.  I asked that you find comfort in all things great & small, but it was for His loving care, I prayed the most of all. 

I feel blessed to have met Ruth and became friends with her while I was living in Tallahassee. She was such a kind and sweet person she always made you feel special.
