Marc is survived by his wife Barbara, sons David and Max (Orlando), stepsons Mark and Tad Hobbs (Tampa) and Kirk Jackson (Miami).
Marc was born in Munich, Germany to Max and Bela Herskovitz. Given the choice of relocating to the United States or Israel, his war weary parents chose the United States. The Herskovitz family ended up in Pittsburgh, where they would live for 20 years before a heart attack forced Max to retire to Deerfield Beach, Florida. Marc graduated from Penn State University and initially pursued a PhD in History. He soon realized that law was his strongest calling and he attended the Florida State University Law School. For over 20 years, he practiced law with the Florida Department of Insurance.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 29th from 2-3pm at Culley’s Meadow Wood on Timberlane Road Chapel. Cremation will follow.
Arrangements are under the direction of Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home in Tallahassee, Florida.
