Sarah Jean Goodpasture passed on December 31, 2016, in Tampa, Florida. Sarah was born on November 8, 1982, to James (Jim) and Betty (BJ) Goodpasture in San Antonio, Texas. In 1990, she moved to Tallahassee, Florida with her family. She graduated from Tallahassee’s Rickards High School. She later moved to Tampa, Florida where she attended and graduated from University of South Florida. She is survived by her parents, her brother Micah Goodpasture, uncles: John (Jan) Goodpasture and Miller (Janine) Settlemeyer, aunt: Ruth (Greg) Trimble, numerous cousins, and countless friends.
Sarah enjoyed many things in this world. Three of her favorites: 1) She loved to see children laugh and smile. Thus, she enjoyed working with children at the New Tampa YMCA. She also had the pleasure of working with several families and their children in the Tampa and Tallahassee areas as their nanny. Her goal always seemed to be to make children feel better about themselves and about their world. 2) Sarah loved to help her friends. If she could offer her personal assistance with some task, give an encouraging word, or just offer a smile, she was in heaven on this earth that she had helped someone. 3) She loved to share her Christian faith. She loved to talk for long periods and in-depth about the Bible and her faith.
