Sharon Joyce Scott

It is with profound sadness and endless love that our family announces the passing of our mother, Sharon, on June 12, 2026. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by the warmth and love of her family.

Born on October 23, 1958 in Harlan, Kentucky, Sharon was the cornerstone of our family. She spent her life dedicating herself to her children and grandchildren. She loved loudly, always ready with a silly song, and lived devoutly for her three children to succeed and live a happy life.

A true matriarch at heart, Sharon a woman of immense strength, grace, and compassion. Her radiant spirit touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She taught us the value of resilience, the joy of giving, and—most importantly—what it means to love unconditionally. We will carry her beautiful legacy in our hearts forever.

She is survived by her loving children, Kimberly, Kaitlin, and Kara; her cherished grandchildren, Isabella, Emma, Alyssa, Riley, Olivia, Sophia, Daniel, Alexander, Daven and Ava. She was preceded in death by her parents Eugene and Helen, and her brother Steven.

For friends, family, and all who knew her: cherish the great legacy she left to always smile, be positive and resilient, and remember God, love and family come above all else.
