It seems like only yesterday I was riding my bike to Sherri's  house, although it was actually 1975 when we became friends.  I remember going to her house and always being welcomed by her mom dad, & sister.  They always made me feel welcomed.  Mrs. Cross and my mom met and agreed to carpool.  Me and Sherri always got to school on time even though we did not always want to be there.  Me and Sherri were baptized on the same day at Highland Gardens Baptist Church.  She actually talked me into it.   I was unsure about getting dunked under the water.  I am glad she encouraged me to accept Christ as my Saviour.  We lost touch over the years.  I will miss her but her sweet spirit and kindness and will hold my memories of our friendship close to my heart.  My sympathy goes out to the Lunsford & Cross families.  Love, Cheryl Foshee Frith

I am so sorry for your loss. I know this is an extremely difficult time, made even more difficult with the pandemic. This is just a shock and a reminder to me that we are are fragile and special. Please know I am praying for your family at this time. I am also a member of the class of 1980 and was a member of the band.

Sheri,  your gonna be missed from us, was looking forward to seeing you at the class reunion.  You will be missed.
