To all the Taits,
I can see why Uncle Stanley and dad were such long-standing friends.  Two of the kindest people - He will me missed - Glad to have had the pleasure to have known him for so long - we love you all.

I have been writing for more than 50 years but today the words escape me.  Stan was my friend, mentor, colleague and business partner. Oh how I wish we could have just one more Friday afternoon staff meeting at the old Steak & Ale.  My love to Marilyn.

A gentleman's gentleman; a professional's professional.  Both wrapped within exceptional kindness and wisdom.

In 1991, I was president of the Capital Chapter of FPRA.  I asked for and received excellent advice from Stan about how to keep mature members involved in FPRA.  He was always willing to support other PR professionals with wise counsel--and I appreciated it so much.  I will miss him and send condolences to you, his family.

I was acquainted with Mr. Tait only briefly; however, I knew him to be a quintessential gentleman and an outstanding public relations professional.  He will be missed by all whose lives he touched.  My condolences to the family.

My condolences to Marilyn, David, Lisa and Linda and their families.  Stan was a joy to know and I appreciated his support and encouragement.  He always loved discussing the newspaper business with Ken.

On behalf of the Capital Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association, I offer my deepest sympathies for the loss of a truly visionary professional and mentor to so many members of our chapter. The award named for this great man, the Stanley Tait Professional Award for Service, is the highest distinction we bestow in the Capital Chapter and honors his spirit, professionalism and leadership, along with his outstanding contributions to the field of public relations. He will be missed, but his legacy will live on.

Stan was a wonderful, gracious, caring man.  I got to know him through the Economic Club, a club that was a labor of love for him.  

What a gem!  He will be greatly missed.
