

Stanton B. Hoover 74 went on to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Sunday, January 1, 2012, in Tallahassee.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Immanuel Baptist Church 2:00 p.m. EDT Saturday, January 7th. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. EDT, Friday January 6th at Cully's Meadowood Funeral Home, Timberlane Chapel.
Mr. Hoover was born September 15, 1937 in Flushing, N.Y. Mr. Hoover faithfully served his country that he loved so dearly for 20 years and retired as TSgt in the USAF. He was a graduate of Florida State University earning a bachelor's degree in criminology. He was a loving husband of 48 years to his recently deceased wife Patricia Foldes Hoover. During his years he travelled extensively while serving in the USAF. He was a loving father to his 7 children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. His greatest past times were fishing, cabinet making, music, archery, and taking in a good movie and FSU football.
He is survived by his children, Robert Monroe (Dee Dee), Tracey Ferrell (Harvey), Beverly Landrum (Daniel), Stanton Hoover JR. (Carol), Greggory Hoover (Tina) , Mitch Hoover ( Laura ) and Patrick Hoover. Grandchildren, Branden Cromwell, Patrick Monroe, Adam and Andrew Ferrell, David, Hillary and Jacob Landrum, JoBeth Hoover, Zachary, Elise and Mason Hoover, Lindsey and Casey Hoover, Cole Hoover. Great Grandchildren, Connor Ferrell, Allyn Landrum and Lilliana Ferrell.
Arrangements are under the direction of Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home, Tallahassee, FL.
