OBITUARY

Stephen George Foster

December 17, 1956April 14, 2018

Stephen George Foster, British Army Veteran, passed away on April 14, 2018, at the age of 61.

In addition to his career with the British Army, which gave him a great deal of pride, Stephen had a successful career as a reliability engineer and enjoyed his work very much. He was also a skilled mechanic. He loved to fish and enjoyed watching rugby, Auburn football, and was a fan of the Cincinnati Bengals. Stephen was a voracious reader and also enjoyed watching the History Channel, especially shows about the British Army. However, family was the most important thing to Stephen.

He is survived by Karen Foster, his beloved wife; children, Daniel Foster and Sian Packard-Iveson; step-children, Kelley Scott and Matthew Jensen; and grandchildren, Aiden, Aron, Alex, Haley, Chloe, and Violet.

There will be a small gathering to celebrate Stephen’s life on Friday, April 20, at 2:00 PM at Culley’s MeadowWood Funeral Home in Tallahassee, Florida. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Veterans Association UK at http://veteransassociationuk.co.uk/ or to the Wounded Warrior Project at https://www.woundedwarriorproject.org/

My daddio elephant ❤ words will never describe the pain of you leaving, the memories that drift in and out unawares that create such a yearning. To hear you call me your shanny one last time would be the greatest gift. The same track that we both had found ourselves both finally following after such a long time came to a halt. You were a great and loveable man, with the best advice, a contagious smile and a laugh that u felt deep inside and shared unknowingly. I will love you forever and miss you so much, I will always be holding your tail dad. I love you ❤ xxx

Stephen was always willing to share; his time, experience, knowledge, support and more. My favorite memory was watching him in his pool teaching my daughter to swim and be comfortable in the water. We are thankful that we had the opportunity to be his friends. Our heartfelt sympathies to Karen and the family.
