Susan Cannon Dunlap

Susan Cannon Dunlap, 59 of Tallahassee, Florida passed away Monday, March 1, 2021 at her home. Her memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 6, 2021, in the Memorial Chapel of Culley’s MeadowWood Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Evans of Wildwood Church officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the hour of service.

Born May 29, 1961 in Tifton, Georgia, Susan was the eldest daughter of the late Robert Eugene Cannon and Shirley Marlene Cannon. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Eugene “Gene” Cannon; and mother, Shirley Marlene Cannon. She graduated from Tift County High School in 1979 and went on to study at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College before starting her lifelong career with United Way. During her career with United Way of the Big Bend she was the Vice President of Collective Impact. Outside of work she enjoyed making jewelry.

Susan is survived by two sons, one daughter-in-law and one grandson; Ryan Dunlap of Tallahassee, Florida; Grant and Jessica Dunlap of Tallahassee; two sisters and one brother-in-law; Debra Cannon of Tifton and Regina & Devin Dunn of Leesburg, Georgia; grandson James Dunlap and five nieces and nephews.
