I know I'm a bit late, but I miss your smiling face more than ever, and I loved your always very happy birthday parties. I wish I had stayed in contact with you over the years.

Tom was a good guy, concerned with justice for the under privileged. I still remember walking neighborhoods with him for ballot access when we were both involved in the Reform Party, seeking a political movement which actually represented the American people, unlike the situation we have in 2023, where only the lobbyists are represented. I just learned of his demise 8 years ago. He left this life too soon.

Tommy Story

Once a boy named Tommy was an only son...but soon a sister came along ...and then another one...and another one ...and another one...and another one.

Tommy had five younger sisters who gave him a hard time...one would boss him, one would talk forever, one would whine...

one would cry and then there was the baby...who was okay :)

But tommy was taught that a boy was a man and a man NEVER hurt a woman. Tommy was not allowed to touch his little sisters.      No matter what they did...

So Tommy came up with a game called " Can't Get Me Down "...

where his sisters would jump on him and try to bring him to the ground.  

But they couldn't...

The rest of his life when bad things came around he would say,

                        " No,No,you can't get Me down ! "

One day he went to Heaven went up, up, up ,up...because God told the Devil
 
                        " You can't get Tommy down "

I remember Tommy's parties, like in maybe 8th grade. His smile, his wonderful heart. I wish great peace to you, your sisters, and family.

In high school, Tom was my debate partner.  He was extraordinarily intelligent, witty, and quick thinking -- he got a better score than I did in every single debate.  He was a good friend, too.  I remember him leading me in  singing "I've Got High Hopes" one evening as we drove home from a poker party, and I've turned to that song many a time when I needed cheering up.

Please honor our big brother Tommy by working for justice and peace.    Light a candle in the world

I am shocked to hear of Tom's death.  He was one of my best friends in high school.  We shared our political interests together. We played poker together, usually at his house. He had a quick and incisive mind.  May Tommy rest in peace.  We will miss you so much.

I remember as a teenager just loving to talk with Tommy about politics... Can't wait to see him again someday and sit with him and chat awhile. Enjoy your time up there til then,Tommy, chatting with the Big guy...

I remember Tom always had a smile for his sisters (my dearest high school friends, Joan and Ann) and me as he passed through the room on his way out of the house. He was never too busy to say "hello" and share a laugh. Rest in peace, Tom.

Tom, you were the eternal optimist and filled our minds and heart with joy and spirit.  You are in our thoughts and prayers. You are a part of the Columbus family.

May you rest in peace. God will welcome you.

My thoughts and prayers are with Catherine and the family.

He was my college roommate, and we were friends for many years thereafter. I had not seen him in many years, but I never stopped thinking about him. He had a brilliant mind, a good heart and an incredibly quick and quirky wit. I've missed him and will miss him forever. In a world that sometimes seems to be full of cookie-cutter replicants,Tom was unique.
