Dr. Gleeson was a retired professor from Florida State University, where he was instrumental in the development of the Meteorology Department. He was well known and respected in his field.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanette Lucas Gleeson and a daughter, Vicki L. Gleeson of Blythewood, SC.
Arrangements are under the direction of Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home, Tallahassee, FL.
