Tiel Thomas Earp

Tiel Thomas Earp, 85, of Tallahassee died peacefully at home after an extended illness on January 17, 2011. She was preceded in death by her son, Herbert Mansfield Earp and her husband of 65 years Joseph Redding Earp and her sister Manette Barnes of Gastonia North Carolina. She is survived by her three sons Joseph Redding Earp, Jr.(Leland), Thomas Michael Earp,(Chris), and James Eugene Earp(Theresa) and a brother M.H. Thomas of Tuscaloosa Alabama. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren all of which gave her great joy.

She was a long time faithful member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Her faith and her church were an integral part of her life. Many will feel the void left by her absence.

The visitation will be held Thursday January 20, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Culley’s MeadowWood Funeral Home, 1737 Riggins Road, with a rosary at 8 pm.. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church on Friday January 21, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. A reception will follow the mass in the church hall. Interment will be at 1:00 p.m. at Culley’s Meadowwood Memorial Park, 700 Timberlane Road.
