Todd attended LaSalle High School in Miami participating in various teams: football, bowling and debate. He served in the Navy, and graduated from Florida State University. Claiming to have ink in his blood, he delivered newspapers to his neighborhood in his early years and ultimately retired from Knight-Ridder/The
Tallahassee Democrat production in 2008. He is survived by his wife of 39+ years, Linda Lettera; three brothers Neil B Wedewer of Charleston, SC; Donald J Wedewer of Ocoee, FL; Harry E Wedewer of Huntingtown, MD; a sister, Mary Ellen Sprague of Savannah, GA; brother-in-law, Ralph A. Lettera of Tallahassee, FL and numerous nieces and nephews.
After retirement Todd & Linda traveled the world checking off places they wanted to see, sometimes returning two or three times.Todd was an avid reader, duplicate bridge player, loyal Miami Dolphins fan, a gentle giant with a rough exterior. He truly enjoyed his time on the back porch with a good cigar and a beer watching the birds at the feeder he maintained. He will be missed by many.
Pursuant to his wishes, there will be no formal services.
For those who are willing, please post a memory you have of Todd below to serve as a testament to the legacy he leaves behind. Please know that your words will serve as a great comfort to the family in the years to come.
