PAM & FAMILY   Sorry for your loss.  Your dad was a dear man who was always hospitable and kind.  He loved a good joke and sent us on a wild goose chase more than once.  Sorry we lost touch over the years.



 I have many memories of Sonny. He loved sitting on our front porch overlooking Lake Talquin, swapping stories, eating oysters and Maine lobsters. And he was always there to supervise or cook so many fried turkeys.  He was a great guy and will always be remembered and missed.   RIP my favorite Father In Law.

Victor G. Stimpson a.k.a. Sonny a.k.a. Gramps a.k.a. Mate was a wonderful man. He was also my Father-In-Law, a man I loved and admired very much. Short in stature, he was a giant in life who cast a huge shadow over his family and friends. Everyone admired his wisdom and sought it out knowing that they would benefit from his many life experiences.  Victor was also a jokester, had a mischievous personality and a great sense of humor.

When he and his wife Hilda moved from Largo in 2002 he approached me about a new position for himself in which he’d create an eBay store and sell King Arthur’s Tools products. Now, at 78 years old, did he know anything about eBay, a webstore or the internet?  Of course not, but that didn’t stop him from building his own eBay store and then proceeded to sell our products for the next 18 years. Though he only worked part time four hours a day, five days a week and eventually only operating his web store with two fingers on his right hand, he was very successful in selling our products and building a loyal client base around the world. He loved the art of the deal and was skillful at it, an ability he obviously honed as a car dealer.  He operated his web store for enjoyment, keeping his mind sharp and a sense of belonging.  Not bad for a guy in his mid nineties!  So that showed his creativity and his tenacity. 

He loved talking business and always wanted an update on how we were doing at work. He wanted to know what the orders were like on a daily basis and what the sales were on a monthly basis, what’s the latest juice and gossip.  If I was having problems with anyone he told me he had he’d have no hesitation in sending his guys to “…Down The Road Motors.”  I shared details with him that I never shared with anyone and he came to be a mentor to me, giving me solid advice from perspectives I never saw. But when he was done talking – to me or to anyone else - he’d finish with “OK, I’m up to speed, good enough” And often times, he just hangup

Even though I never met him, I have known him for years through his daughter’s eyes. No matter their age, our hearts break when we loose a loved one. Pam, May your heart mend with wonderful memories. You were a good and faithful servant and he will be with you in spirit. Let me know when you’re ready for a silent walk on the beach. ❤️🙏🏻

I send my condolences and cherish the fond memories of your father that you shared with me and other CWN sisters through the many funny stories and helpful and timely anecdotes that your father shared with you.  You are an amazing daughter who now has a special angel in Heaven looking over you.

Dear Pam:
Though I did not personally know your wonderful Father, I do know that he blessed this world through the life lessons that he and your Mother taught you.

Some of these wonderful lessons instilled in you  are: caring, anticipation of what needs to be done, a commitment always to excellence, a loving heart and always a willingness to go the extra mile to help others and/or to accomplish a task.

Pam, thanks for what you mean to each of us in CWN and all other organizations to which you belong. Thanks to your loving parents for allowing all of us  to enjoy your God Given Energy.

To have raised a daughter as lovely, kind and smart at Pamela, you must have been one heck of a guy! I am sorry I never had the chance to meet you but I know your memory and legacy will live on. We will keep a close eye on your gal. 

Gramps will be greatly missed and was loved dearly. When I was in elementary school there was something about Gramps car dealership being way more fun than school. Just the thought of not being there would make me sick. So who was always there to pick a sick Teddy up from school, Gramps was. 
Gramps always had the cure, right when he would show up, I would all of the sudden feel so much better. And of course, I got to spend the day with Gramps at the car dealership. 

In Highschool before the baseball season, to get in shape we had optional 5am morning runs in Gramps' neighborhood. I never missed a morning run because it was always the highlight of the run when we went by his house and I could hear him asking the other players, "Where is Teddy? Why isn't he in the front?" I never made it to the front but he always pushed me to give it all I had. 

You will be missed gramps.

As an employee at King Arthur's Tools I had the privilege to meet Victor and the honor to work with him in and around his home for a number of years. His wisdom and knowledge of life, military, and spiritual topics  he so eagerly shared with me will always be remembered. May your soul rest in heavenly peace. I'm gonna miss that young fellow.

When visiting Victor, Pamela Aveling’s Father, in his late 80’s, it was both delightful and inspirational. He was still working with King Author’s online order systems, was one of the sharpest men I had ever met, and had a tremendous sense of humor and irony. Pamela’s devotion to her father and his quality of life and his devotion and love of her and the rest of his family was clear in everything they said and did. Recalling visits with him will always come with gratitude: Victor was a person who was committed to family, dedicated to lifelong learning and work, and bringing joy to those who knew him. Victor is truly missed, and deep condolences go from our family to his.

We’ll miss you,  Sonny. You welcomed me into the family like I was your own. I’ll always remember the first few parties at the lake. The hearing aid heard everyone except Hilda. Always the character. The fried turkey never runs out in heavens buffet. Go get it. Love ya. 

Dear Pamela and family....I am sorry to hear about your loss.  The loss of a parent is so difficult and, I suspect, never more so then in these troubled times.  May his memory be for a blessing.  Shalom.  Alicia

Gramps has always been a positive man with a great sense of humor, he never met a stranger and was always quick with a joke, I will miss our long talks about business and life. 

Father, best friend, mentor and spiritual inspiration.   It is an honor to be his daughter.  “While grief may look like an expression of pain that serves no purpose, it is actually the soul’s acknowledgment of what we value. Grief is the honour we pay to that which is dear to us. And it is only through the connection to what we cherish that we can know how to move forward. In this way, grief is motion.“
