Whitney Suzanne Stewart

Whitney Suzanne Stewart, 48, of Crawfordville entered into eternal peace, Thursday, March 14, while riding her beloved horse Ace. Whitney touched many lives in her short time with us. She was a loving wife, mother and friend of so many. Whitney retired from the State of Florida after 20 years of service. She was an active member of the ACHTA, Wakulla County Horseman’s Association, and the Southern Trail Riders group. Whitney started a Girl Scout Troop at the Woodville United Methodist Church in 2001 and continued until 2010.

Whitney is preceded in death by her brother, Ricky Powers.

She is survived by her loving husband, Greg; daughters, Morgan Willis, Alexandra Stewart and Amber Stewart; her mother Sherry Dahl; fathers, Milton Dahl and Tom Powers; and brother, Scott Powers. She is also survived by her horses, Ace and Charlie; Brody and Bella, the pugs; Bear, and Happy the cat.

In lieu of flowers donations to Second Harvest and/or CHAT of Wakulla are welcome.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday (March 19) from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Culley’s MeadowWood Funeral Home, Riggins Road Chapel. Funeral Services will be held at Riggins Road Chapel (1737 Riggins Road) on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. with burial following at Roselawn Cemetery.
