I love you dad and I miss you more and more everyday. I can’t even find the words to tell you how much I love you and to say thank you because there aren’t enough words in the world. I keep watching your videos to hear your voice and watch you sing and dance. My heart hurts. I know you are with mom singing and playing bingo with a smile on your face. I love dad always and forever 

We remember special times at Corner Pockets which is our local cheers and a special conversation with William about how guiless and sweet Tammy is...when he exclaimed (that girl never asks for nothin!!!!)

I am having a really hard time with all of this, and my head is in a whirlpool.  I am either mad, sad or laughing from a memory that I thought of.  I even thought for a moment that I am not going to even respond to this, but I felt guilty and that people would judge me that I am very uncaring. I just don't know how to deal with all the emotion that is inside of me.  
I do want to say that you were the best father that any one can ask for and I am truly blessed that I was lucky enough to call you my dad.  Oh there are so many memories swirling in my head, for now I am holding all these beautiful memories vey close to my heart and trying to deal with all this pain and emotion that I have.  I love you more than you will ever know and I thank you for all that you gave me and done for me.  I LOVE YOU DAD.

I am so thankful to have had the time that I had with him. He taught me so many great life lessons. I feel like I am the luckiest person in the world for having him as a father. I would like to thank him for taking a snotty nosed 10-year-old boy to Monday night bowling nights, to the race track and watch him interact with his buddies. He was never unwilling to take me along with him. Those memories are some of the most precious that I have of me and my dad spending time together. 
In closing, what his greatest ability was to treat somebody that he knew for 20 years the same as the person that he just met. That is why everybody wanted to be part of his life. The old saying goes somebody would give you the shirt of their back, but with him not only would he give you his shirt he would put a $100 bill in the pocket of that shirt.

I would like to thank God for putting this man in my life! I want to share a few of my thoughts that most remind me of what an amazing father he was to me. 
I had the pleasure of watching many, many sporting events with Dad. Let me tell you that some of them got intense. That man's passion for sports was second to none! He would drag out 3 TV's on a Sunday afternoon and we would sit for hours watching football, basketball and Nascar. 
He was a phenomenal athlete and was the most competitive person that I know. He is the reason why I am so competitive and passionate about sports myself. 
He taught me work ethic, to treat all people with respect, how to laugh and shared his love of music with me. For those that have lived with him you know that every night in a house with him was karaoke before karaoke existed! 
He was an amazing storyteller. A lot of these stories I can recite word for word and have since told them to many of my friends. 
The man was not only a talented athlete but also the King of the Grill! Many Sundays were spent in the backyard listening to the radio and watching the master take over the grill. He was a great cook who combined southern cooking with a touch of soul food. 
He never said no to any of my athletic aspirations. Whether it was getting up at 6am on a Saturday to drive me to hockey practice or when I would ask him to shoot tennis balls at me for goalie practice. He would oblige regardless if it was 30 degrees outside or it was 80. 
He was very supportive of me, but also would push me to be a better athlete. I think because he was such a tremendous athlete he just expected excellence. I am so grateful for that because it pushed me to become better. 



Dad.....my heart is broken. Thank you for making me a part of your family and your life. I will always treasure our time together. Rest in peace Dad. I love you.

To my dad my friend my hero. I love you more than words can explain and I will miss you everyday.  Thank you for making me the person that I am which has made my children the wonderful people that they are. You are the most amazing person and dad I could ever ask for. I will keep all of my memories in my heart.  My soul is broken and I don’t know how to move forward. I love you dad always and forever.

My dearest Father...May you rest in peace and you will be greatly missed by so many that you touched. I cant put into words the loss I feel. I couldnt have picked a better man to be my dad and teach and guide and love and support me. I love you so much and even though your not here to hear the stories you will forever be in my heart and daily thoughts. No one can ever erase the amazing memories I hold dear to me. I love and miss you Daddy!!
