Alberto Fernando White was born on November 25, 1940 in the district of Beacon St. Elizabeth to Berris and Nathaniel White. He was the third of three children. He attended Pedro Plains Elementary and McGann High School in Black River.
After completing his studies he joined the Jamaica Constabulary Force and retired as a sergeant due to medical disability. He later sojourned to the United States where he met and married Dahlia Kennedy White July 3, 1995. Alberto loved gardening and tending his backyard farm was one of his passions. He was an avid cricket fan and often journeyed back to Jamaica to Sabina Park to enjoy the sport. Alberto was resilient, dedicated, strong willed and had a passion for life. Alberto will always be remembered as a devoted, compassionate individual with a pleasant demeanor.
Alberto leaves behind to mourn his passing: Wife, Dahlia Kennedy- White, Sister Meredith Clarke, Children : Albert White, Dave White, Howard White, Charmaine Scott-Cole and Bishen Kennedy, Grandchildren, Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
