I have very fun memories of daddy.  I recalled in the earlier days in New York (during Joel and I courtship), he would whip up a delicious curried goat whenever he knew that I was coming over.  As for the drinks ...I can still hear his voice ..."Joyce, darling what you drinking?" ...and of course, we would have a few drinks together.  He loved to dance.  I am so glad that I had the opportunity to dance with him on many occasions.  He enjoyed life.  May the gates of heaven open up and shower him with endless blessings!  I know he is with his savior resting in PEACE.

Hope you remember your family trip to La Vega estate in Trinidad . We had a wonderful time sharing  delicious food and just spending quality time with you all.  Great family pic. 

So sorry to hear of the passing of my Uncle Sugar as he was fondly known as .As a matter of fact it was the only name I knew growing up. A great loss for our family. 
Growing up Uncle Sugar and Aunty Angela would pass for my Mom to go see Indian movies. 
As children both our families would plan beach outings to Balandra beach and Salybia beach. They were some of the best times we had as kids.  
On our way to the beach  ,the drive seemed long and we would often ask  " we reach yet ? " it was when we saw the many coconut trees  swaying in the breeze we knew that we would soon be there. What excitement we all had together.  hmmm family ....praise God for family. Uncle you will be missed but your love for all will linger forever.
 

My few visits to Florida, this family always makes us feel welcome and at home with them. I know it would never be the same not seeing  Uncle Sugar  when next I visit. I 🙏 that God gives each one the strength to go forward.I could only imagine what you all maybe going through,let this confort us all , to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Uncle Sugar 🙌 hallelujah as this word had become our greetings.

I am sure the Mohamed family is already missing the “Papa, Sugar, Al” who was such a warm, friendly person. Papa and I loved to travel back to the island life and “savour” the many dishes, fruit and experiences.

Quietly, attentively sitting at his side, holding hands while he told his many stories, was his truly dedicated, caring and loving love of his life… Angela. 
Buzzing around, was the entire family, showering their beloved Papa with attention and affection.

 I do feel your pain at this time and may the beautiful memories of Papa help to comfort you. 



We send our deepest condolences to Mama and the whole family. Papa was a sweet and loving person, who always brightened our days with his jokes and laughter. He made us laugh so hard that we felt our sides ache and our cheeks flush. He was a faithful follower of Jesus, who told Peter to feed His sheep in John 21: 15-17. Papa did more than that. He fed us not only spiritually, but also physically. His table was always full of delicious food, and his door was always open to welcome us with warmth and kindness. Papa nourished our bodies and souls with his generosity and compassion. He was always there for us when we needed him. We will miss him dearly. We love you, Papa! 🙏🏽

Condolences to my dear Aunt and my cousins Wendell ,Wayne,Yvette and Joel and their spouses Dawn, Bryan and Joyce and their families. Uncle " Sugar " as he was fondly called was a loving and kind person. He enjoyed food and usually would prepare a wonderful tasty meal. On occasions when I visited he would request for me to make home made bread or cook a pelau. 
During my childhood years when he lived in Trinidad he would take us to the beach. Such fond memories. His memories will live on.
Uncle you are safe in Jesus arms 🙏🏾❤

My memory is visiting Florida for Thanksgiving in the past and Uncle Sugar and his family allowing us to share their home with us( my sister and I)through our aunt Dan.I remember Uncle carrying us anywhere we wanted to shop and cooking his famous pelau and even Pink Salmon and rice which was my favorite. He would tell us stories from his past mostly about persons in Trinidad. He and his wife also blessed me with their presence at my wedding in 2013 in which he willingly took to the microphone on stage and made a hearfelt speech. He lived a full life and was loved by everyone he came into contact with , I am sure. It's his time to return to his maker. His legacy will forever live on we will miss him immensely..
