Andrew Dixon was born in St. Andrew, Jamaica on October 28, 1975 to parents Vincent and Vivienne Dixon. He attended Wolmer’s Preparatory in Kingston Jamaica and graduated from Wolmer’s High School for Boys where he excelled on the Track & Field team, particularly at the 110M Hurdles.
He continued his education, first at the University of Technology, then on migrating to the United States, he continued his education at Florida Atlantic University where he received his bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning… Andrew then went on to the American Intercontinental University where he received his MBA.
Andrew worked in Urban and Project Planning for many years, and as an entrepreneur, owned a trucking and logistics company. He had a passion for event planning and promotions and was known for his signature Bora Bora parties and several other events. He enjoyed sports; his love for track & field took him to see the races firsthand at the London Olympics in 2012. He loved to travel, was a music enthusiast and was always up for a good lyme with his close friends.
Andrew is survived by his mother: Vivienne, Sisters: Denise, and Andrene, Partner: Natoya, Nephew: Michael; devoted aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends.
A service of thanksgiving to celebrate his life is scheduled for 3pm on Saturday December 17, 2022, at Bailey Memorial in Tamarac FL.
