With heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a life well lived, we announce the passing of Andrew Orlando East, born on October 25, 1970, in Floyds Lodge, Westmoreland, Jamaica to his parents, Marlene Fennell and Maximillion East.

Andrew was a man whose life was defined by service, strength, sincerity, and unwavering faith. He proudly served as Treasurer of the Kiwanis Club of Montego Bay Central, where his dedication and integrity made a lasting impact. He also served wholeheartedly as President of the Cornwall Combined Disabilities Association Benevolent Society, advocating passionately and selflessly for others. His commitment to community upliftment was not just a role he held; it was who he was at his core.

Rooted deeply in his faith, Andrew gave his life to the Lord and served boldly in his spiritual journey. He took his Sabbath very seriously, honoring it with reverence and devotion. His relationship with God guided his path, shaped his character, and strengthened him through life’s challenges. His faith was not just something he professed; it was something he lived daily through his kindness, humility, and steadfast belief.

Known for his ever-present smile, Andrew had a remarkable gift for connection. He believed deeply in forming meaningful bonds and maintaining them through constant communication and quality time. Whether through an encouraging word, thoughtful advice, or a quick joke delivered with perfect timing, he had a way of lifting spirits and brightening even the heaviest days.

Andrew was fiercely independent and always sought to help himself wherever he could, yet he remained deeply appreciative of every helping hand extended to him. His warm, welcoming, and friendly nature allowed him to get along effortlessly with everyone he encountered. It is a testament to his character that no one can recall hearing him in an argument; his spirit was rooted in peace, positivity, and understanding.

He went above and beyond to assist others wherever he was physically able, embodying generosity in action. Andrew leaves behind a legacy of service, faith, kindness, encouragement, and unwavering positivity that will continue to inspire all who knew him.
