I loved you and Chief with all my heart. I could not ask or wish for anything more in Grandparents. I am so sorry that the recent events in my life, these past few years prevented me from spending more time with you. Though I was unable to spend much time with you in the past few years, it does not change the fact that I loved you very much. I will miss you and you will always be in my heart. I'm so sorry that the last few years of your life were difficult for you and that you suffered physically in many ways and that you were unhappy. But please know that your family loved you very much and that I loved you also.

    Although our meeting was such a short time ago and we didn't have much time to spend together to really know each other, I have always felt comfortable and welcomed in your life.  I (as I have always said to your grandson) adored you with all my heart and I will continue to carry with me that feeling of admiration for you. God Bless.

We are a link in a chain......first we are born into a family of none or more than one siblings......then over time it expands to our own family of one or more than one children, and then at some point grandchildren come along........A never ending process in which in the span of a lifetime our link seems to almost disappear, but not quite for we were born, we lived, we loved, we died.
But through it all "Love remembers the details of who we were and what we meant to our loved ones".......Love survives it all.
Right now your loved ones are in pain and the tears flow, because they miss being able to see you in person or hear you over the phone.
But...in due time all that will be left are memories of the good times sprinkled generously by smiles, laughter, and lots of love.
We celebrate the wonderful woman you are for you were blessed to raise a family with all of those elements. We celebrate your going home to be with the Lord because one day they will all be together with you and the Lord in due time. Weeping may last for a night, but Joy comes in the morning.
As your family travels through the darkness into the day of Peace and reflection into the Light the Lord will sustain them.

Mom -
We were like an "old married couple who bickered constantly".  But we both stuck together through thick and thin. Somehow or other we had an unspoken bond and spent 64 years without parting.  You were there for my first breath and I for your last; very befitting, don't you think Mom?  Yes, it was very good.  We remained together in good times and bad; in sickness and in health; for better and worse until death did us part.  We were Mother and Daughter - first and foremost.  Both you and Daddy will be in my heart and thoughts until it is my turn to take my last breath.  Each of you gave me the values I have carried with me through my life; the value of family, togetherness, love and always being there for one another no matter what.  And, I imparted these values to my children as well.  These are the things which you both gave to me.  These are the truly invaluable things we need in life and for that, I give you both my deepest gratitude and love.  I was privileged to be raised by my parents who had it all
"straight".   I love you both and always will.

Your mother is needed in Heaven.  They are getting too many Republicans there and all the Republicans want to start a Heaven Condo Association!  She needs to stop them before it turns into an Oakbrook Village in Heaven.  Heaven needs Good Angels!  Your mother was a Great Angel.
