A TIME TO BE BORN
Bishop Thomas Augustine Friday was born August 5, 1939 in Grenada, West Indies, son of the late Stanley and Mary Friday. He was the second of twelve siblings.
A TIME TO LEARN GROW AND SERVE
Bishop had a strong affinity towards God at an early age. Even though a Bible was never kept at his house, he was a keen listener to anyone who spoke or even mentioned the bible. At the age of seventeen, I went to spend time with my Grandmother in Trinada. Once she went to bed, I curiously saw a book on the table. It was the bible. The Holy word of God. Not knowing anything about the verses or chapters, I was struck by the words fisher of men and the twelve disciples. I believed that I was called the thirteenth disciple. From that day I feel in love with Jesus that is my first love it unchangeable and my life is governed by it! At the age of twenty I moved to London and joined the local Pentecostal Church. After I served thirteen years there, I decided to move to the United States. I spent a few years in Chicago and then on to California. He began ministering in California with his wife and church members. I joined Second Baptist and begin a street ministry, Jesus is the answer ministries with my wife. In 1996 in Broward County, he begin his own ministry “The Love of God Ministries” with his wife and family until his home going.
He received his ministerial license and doctor of Divinity from Logos Cross Cultural College and Seminary, Pembroke Pines, Fl in June, 2006.
