My deepest condolences to you, Cousin Wilby, and your loving family on the passing of your dear wife, Brenda. From the moment I met Brenda, her smile and tone of voice drew me into her trust. I have always admired how she never let a conversation go by without sharing the truth, encouraging one to never ever forget Jehovah. In fact, my very last conversation with her, I will always bear in mind that she reminded me to stay close to him. Brenda was to all who knew her the sister who exemplified Romans 12:11. She certainly was "aglow with the spirit." I will truly miss the texts reminding me of special talks, videos, reminders of convention, memorial  and new song recordings, or just ones she enjoyed and wanted to share. She was a diamond.

We're wishing your family our sincere sympathiea and condolences at this time of bereavement. It's certainly not an easy time to go through with the death of a close beloved family member/friend but as each day progresses take the time out to reflect upon the good memories and look forward to much better times ahead in the not too distant future. Losing a loved one especially a parent is extremely difficult, but we are so grateful to have the promise from Jehovah knowing they will live again under perfect conditions and be healthy and young again. I can’t wait to see my dad running to embrace with a hug. We will all have a wonderful reunion. I love you my Campbell family and know my prayers, thoughts, and heart is always with you.

I only knew her for a short time I can tell she was a lovely sister who loved Jehovah. She also loved the ministry. I know I was drawn to her personality. I wanted to work with her because anyone that loves the ministry so much I want to be with. 

She will be missed, but I’m looking forward to seeing her again in paradise and giving her a big hug. Her smile was contagious. I was so happy to go on return visits with her. I learned a lot from her in those days. I can tell you she was a good teacher. She was a spiritual gem to the congregation who I got to know for a short time, but I was thankful for that.

Dear Peter and Family, my mother, Sister Beryl Chambers was a good friend of your mom. That’s how I met your mom.  We became long distance friends. I live in Portland, Oregon. Your mom would send me mangoes every Summer and I would send her persimmons in the Fall.  Your mom was an encouragement to me. She loved Jehovah. I will miss her dearly. On behalf of the Stewart family, I, Julette Stewart Holloway, wish to express our deepest sympathy to our beloved cousin, Wilby Campbell, and his family, on the passing of his devoted wife of more than fifty years, Brenda.

For many years, my sister Theda, our spouses, and I had the privilege of visiting with Wilby, Brenda, their daughter Wendy, and other members of their household. These moments remain dear to us, especially our last visit in November 2024, when Brenda, as always, welcomed us with her graciousness and warmth. She embodied the true spirit of hospitality, leaving a lasting impression of kindness and love.

It is with profound sadness that we learned of her illness in May 2025 and her passing only a few short months later. Brenda’s life was a blessing to all who knew her. She will be fondly remembered for her generosity of spirit, her strength, and the love she so freely shared with family and friends.

May her soul rest in eternal peace, and may Wilby and the entire family find comfort in the cherished memories of a life well-lived and deeply loved.

May 2025 Family Dinner .  Mother enjoyed having us all together on multiple occasions to cook, eat and just enjoy each other company!

In all these years that I've known Brenda I can truly say I couldn't have a better mother in law.  She was always considerate and loving,  always encouraged me with her zeal for Jehovah and the truth.  Her determination not to miss family worship even under difficult circumstances, taking care of my father-in-law, made a lasting impression in my heart. 
She never complained and always tried her best to manage any situation to the best of her abilities.  Her love for Jehovah was evident to her last moments of life, Jehovah was always in her mind,  she wanted to please him and to maintain a clean conscience. 
Just a month and a half before she passed she was at the hospital and we came to see her with the kids,  she had found a return visit for us. A man that was giving support to patients,  she witnessed to him and promised to give him a ginger beer. Something he said he never tried before. 
Brenda was a kind and generous sister, mother,  grandmother and wife. Very energetic and organized person, never spoke in an unkind way, the opposite, she built us up. I can't wait for the day I can see her and hug her again 🤗 ❤️

My last favorite memorary of Brenda was while in field service I had not eaten and the sun was extremely hot. I was about to passout.  Brenda saw what was going on and helped me up.  She asked did anyone  have water.  Noone did though there  was this sister that had Gatorade .  Brenda asked  the sister for it and  the the sister said no it has germs.  Brenda said Shirley do you mind.  I said no , and she poured it down my throat.  How thankful I was to Brenda for her quick thinking.  Brenda was always available  to help whenever or  wherever she could.

Reflecting on the impact my spiritual sister, friend and confidant Brenda Campbell had on my life, I  realize she was an outstanding person who had genuine love for her brothers and sisters.
Eight years ago, I met Sister Campbell at a Sunday meeting.  I then learnt she was a regular pioneer. At that time, I had just moved to Miami and wasn’t mobile. I started accompanying her to many bible studies. She would call and say, Evelyn, I’ve met someone and she would go into details as to how, when, and where she met the person, how the conversation started, questions that the person asked and if it’s a question that needed research, she would ask for my help then we’d put the materials together. 
Brenda was interested in knowing that I was doing well, not only spiritually but in my everyday life. When I needed a job, she would let me know who I could get information from,  where I could get groceries at a reasonable price, and help me gain confidence in driving on the right side instead of the left side of the road. When I needed surgery, she didn’t hesitate to ask her daughter to get information from sisters in her congregation regarding a surgeon who would be accommodating towards Jehovah’s Witnesses and the blood issue. She introduced me to brothers and sisters who are loving and kind. I could go on and on.
We would have long phone conversations, sometimes when the conversation goes overtime, she would say: “you know, Jehovah’s Witnesses are talkers, am hungry, take care you hear?” Our time spent together was enjoyable.
I visited her and left her a little bunch of flowers. She asked someone to text me saying: “Thanks for the flowers; I love you always.
I will ask Jehovah to give me patience to wait for his promises to be fulfilled. Especially the resurrection hope.

Brenda has been such an extraordinary example to me and my family. She has a special place in our hearts and we will always remember her for being a fine Christian sister and friend. Another thing we will miss doing is her always being the first to have our coconuts. She was our go to girl. It saddens our hearts to see her go but looking forward to seeing her again. Her zeal and love for Jehovah will never be forgotten. We love you Auntie Brenda and the Cambell Family.

Brenda had this pleasance about her that would radiate; everyone noticed when she was around. She brought warmth and joy. This made it natural for her to cheer others up. Even in her tough days she let others know she loved them. What a special lady Brenda Campbell was and will be again!

Brenda I learned today you had a beautiful middle name! Lilieth! 🥰 Brenda was such a lovely, pleasant, humble sister to be around with. She was an example of representing Jehovah so very well. Her love for God and brotherhood, her great faith, her passion for the ministry will be forever etched in my mind as I’m sure it is in Jehovah’s memory as in many others. Brenda,  you’ve inspired so many to continue serving Jehovah to the best of their abilities. May Jehovah the God of Mercy continue to bring peace and comfort to those who were very close to you. I miss you and if Jehovah wills, I am reserving a special big hug from me to you in the new world. May you rest in sleep until Jehovah calls your name.

Always making sure Jehovah was at the forefront of every conversation, message being delivered , counsel , or just plain advice . Brenda , you were like a mother to me , a friend , and very easy to talk to . I will miss you forever .

Sister Brenda was a mother figure to me (Rohani) when my mom wasn't here in America yet. When my mother came she and my mom would go to all her Bible studies. We will miss Brenda very much! Her strength, love, faithfulness, friendship..always aware and caring for others..all these things and so much more is what we will always treasure & remember of Brenda until we see her again.
