Georgia Anita Langshaw-Palmer was born in Montego Bay, Jamaica on August 20, 1970. She was affectionately known as Bunny, or Ebony. Georgia was a caring daughter and sister, and mother to three precious boys, Jason (deceased), Jordan, and Nathan jr. She worked in the Jamaica tourism industry successfully for many years before emigrating to Florida in the early 1990’s. Georgia made a career move that was very much in line with who she was at her core. She became a Certified Nursing Assistant and dedicated the rest of her lifetime to caring for and helping others.
Georgia was diagnosed with cancer in the latter part of 2020, and she was determined to fight this disease with every ounce of strength she could find. Her faith, as a Messianic Jew, sustained her in these most difficult times and allowed her to remain upbeat and positive right to the very end. Oftentimes, she would end up encouraging others who were discouraged by her deteriorating condition.
Georgia made her transition on May 26, 2021. She leaves behind a host of family and friends whose lives are forever changed with her passing. She is survived by her parents, George and Eunice Langshaw; sisters, Pamella Daley and Denise Longshaw, sons, Jordan and Nathan Drummond; husband, Donald Palmer and loving step-children, Shanice, Candice, Daniel and Mark.
