May 8, 1949 – April 11, 2020
Gina Moise, 70 of Miami Shores, FL, passed away on April 11, 2020 at Kindred Hospital after a long courageous battle with an illness. Gina Moise was born in Corail (Miragoane, Haiti) on May 8, 1949, daughter of Brutus Moise and Hermante Val. She survived by her spouse Pierre Julio Richard, her two children Maggy Moise P. and Pierre Richard Loiseaux. She also survived by her beloved brother Movie Moise, his eight kids and quite a few more Nephews and Nieces.
At a noticeably young age she left her native country of Haiti and her two kids behind at that time to come to the US in search of a better life “THE AMERICAN DREAM” as they say. As soon as she got to the US; she quickly became the guardian, caretaker, provider, the mother of the whole family as we know her. She never complains a single day; it was not matter if you were a closed family member or not, she was always willing to help anyway she can. I can tell you today, it is not only our family members who are mourning this death, but our whole hometown is mourning this lost as well of this special woman whom the earth will never see again. Though, we all know this empty spot she left in our family will never be filled because there will never be another one like her; let celebrate her life for the great woman that she was.
Gina was not only a great woman of heart; she was also a great cook! Wow my mouth is watering just thinking about those good foods. She spent her whole career as a cook working for a few restaurants during her remarkable career, but she was very loyal to specific one that we all know very well. She was the talk of the town where she worked for many years and It was not until she retired that other people starting to open other restaurant of the same kind near the area where she used to work at. It is with a heavy heart that we are going to let her go, but her long lasting memory will be with all us forever and will never be forgotten by anyone who had ever encountered her. Go in peace our sweet mother! May God receive you in his kingdom.
